New Year’s Update!

January is just around the corner and I can’t believe 2024 is almost done! With that said 2025 will be bringing some changes, the biggest being the website and scheduling.

I am currently working on updating the site and hopefully will have a mobile app as well.

Moving forward we will be prioritizing secured weekly slots and monthly packages paid on the 1st of the month as primary way to book. We are making the switch to ensure those who are committed to regular lessons get priority booking. Individual lessons will be available still, but will not have priority booking and are a slightly higher rate.

For example, if Wednesday at 3pm is the spot you like, you can purchase it for the month guaranteeing that time slot. Packages are based off a 4 week month. If there is a 5th week or day (using our example, a 5th Wednesday one month) then that is a built in day or week for any make up lessons needed, horsemanship lessons, or an extra day off for the lesson horses!

Speaking of make ups, make up lessons must be set up within the same month of cancellation or they are forfeited. Exception being if the cancelled lesson was in the last week of the month there is a 2 week grace period into the following month to reschedule. Make up lessons are only allowed if notice is given to the instructor 24 hours or more in advance. NO makeups if under 24 hours notice except for illness/emergency. 1 make up a month allowed for last minute emergency/illness cancellation.

Just as currently there will be occasional cancellations due to high wind, excessive heat (110+) or poor air quality because of the health concerns those types of conditions can cause. Those lessons will be given a make up lesson for another day. Horsemanship lessons are given if weather is unfit for riding but is not considered unhealthy conditions.

We are adding group lessons! Wednesday evening will be for those who are jumping and Friday evening for students who know how to canter. Jumping students are welcome to join Friday’s group to improve their abilities on the flat!

All changes will be going in full effect by February 1st. January will be used as a transition month for these changes. Please ensure that all lessons you purchase on the current site are booked in January!
